Bakra Texas is a working farm raising live goats only for families and individuals seeking animals suitable for Qurbani (Eid ul Bakra), Aqeeqah, and family use.

Our goats are ranch-raised in the Texas Hill Country and sold directly from the farm. We do not operate as an auction, dealer, or processor — buyers work directly with us to check availability and reserve.

ABOUT OUR RANCH 

A 120+ year old Texas Hill Country Ranch in Sabinal, Texas

Bakra Texas is based on an 800-acre ranch near Sabinal, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country. We raise Spanish/Boer cross goats in a low-stress, pasture-based environment and sell live goats only directly to families and individuals. The ranch has been kept in the same family for over 120+ years, and is the recipient of the Texas Department of Agriculture Family Land Heritage Award. 

We’re a working ranch — not an auction yard and not a reseller. Our focus is simple: healthy animals, clear communication, and a smooth pickup or delivery process for buyers across South Central Texas.

Ranch pickup is by appointment only. For privacy and biosecurity, we provide exact pickup details after your reservation is confirmed.
